Use GZ's image tools to create local copies of images you are allowed to process.

Your files and rights

You remain responsible for the files you choose, the rights needed to use them and how you use the resulting images. GZ does not receive the image files through its processing tools.

Results and limitations

Image output depends on your browser, source file, selected format and settings. Re-encoding may change visual quality, dimensions, metadata or transparency. Check the result before publishing or relying on it. GZ does not guarantee a specific file size, quality, compatibility or metadata-removal result.

Availability

The static website and its tools are provided as available and may change as the product develops. Browser capabilities, available memory and local codecs can affect whether a file can be processed.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights. Do not attempt to disrupt the website or hosting infrastructure.

Third-party software and fonts

The HEIC converter uses heic-to 1.5.2, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License 3.0 or later. The bundled Geist and Geist Mono fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Copies of the license texts are available for heic-to and Geist.
