JPEG does not support transparency. If your WebP has transparent pixels, this tool composites them onto the selected background (white by default) before encoding. WebP animation is reduced to the still frame provided by the browser image decoder.
JPEG is lossy, so choose a quality that keeps important edges and gradients clean. Keep the original WebP if it contains transparency or animation you need.
